Wet Paint privacy policy
Effective October 10, 2026
Wet Paint is made by Vinnie Garcia. The short version: your photos and videos stay on your iPhone, and the app collects nothing about you.
Your photos and videos
Everything you see in Wet Paint is painted on your iPhone. Photos and videos you take are saved to your Photos library. They are never uploaded anywhere.
Wet Paint asks only to add to your Photos library, not to read it. It can't see the photos and videos already there. The app keeps a copy of your most recent capture in its own storage so you can review and share it, and deletes that copy when you take the next one.
Camera and microphone
The camera is used only while Wet Paint is open on screen, to show and paint what it sees. The microphone is used only while you record a video, if you allow it; without it, videos record silently. Nothing from the camera or microphone leaves your iPhone.
No account, no tracking
There's no account and no sign-up. Wet Paint has no analytics, no ads, and no tracking, and it doesn't share anything with data brokers or advertisers.
Purchases
Wet Paint Pro is bought through Apple's App Store; Apple handles payment, and Wet Paint never sees your payment details. The app uses RevenueCat to confirm the purchase and to restore it on your other devices. RevenueCat receives an anonymous ID created when the app is installed and your purchase history for Wet Paint, used only to unlock Pro. It isn't linked to your name or email, and it isn't used for tracking. See RevenueCat's privacy policy.
Children
Wet Paint doesn't collect personal information from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new effective date.
